About
Pocket Signal started as a shared notes file between three friends who kept swapping recommendations. At some point the list got too long to keep in a chat, so we turned it into a proper site. That's basically the whole origin story — no big studio behind us, no marketing plan.
We cover indie mobile games across every genre. Some weeks it's a slow farming sim, other weeks a punchy arcade racer. What ties it together is scale: we like small teams doing focused, personal work, and we try to give those games the attention the big charts rarely do.
How we pick? Someone plays something, gets a bit obsessed, and pitches it. If it holds up after a full week on real devices — mid-range phones included, not just the latest flagship — it earns a page. We don't chase launch-day hype. A game usually needs to prove it's still fun after the novelty wears off.
Everything you read is our own opinion. We buy or download the games ourselves, we're not on anyone's payroll, and we say when something annoyed us. That's the point of the whole thing.
