Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is an atmospheric adventure game that leans hard on mood. You explore a quiet, half-abandoned town holding a lantern, solving gentle environmental puzzles and slowly piecing together what happened here. The pacing is deliberate and the sound design does a lot of heavy lifting.

Puzzles are logical rather than obtuse — no pixel-hunting nonsense. Most of the time you're rewarded for paying attention to your surroundings, and the game respects your intelligence. It's short, maybe four hours, but it doesn't overstay its welcome.

Play it with headphones. Honestly, that's half the experience. It's the kind of small, personal game that sticks with you longer than its runtime suggests.
